the opera theatre of yale college
• contributions •
Opera is the ultimate art form. Each production requires the seamless collaboration of composers, librettists, singers, dancers, actors, directors, designers painters, technicians and instrumentalists. The range of repertoire is immense; the range of interpretation, infinite. Therefore, no two performances of any opera are alike.
The OTYC is an undergraduate organization devoted to bringing the opera experience to the Yale community. As the art form undergoes numerous innovations, we aim to attract a young, vibrant audience that will ensure the continuance of opera in the next century. With this goal in mind, many of the OTYC shows are free of charge. Given opera's many elements, however, opera is perhaps also the ultimately expensive art. In order to keep our productions available to all, we depend heavily upon the generosity of individual donors.

We invite you to please consider making a contribution to further opera at Yale. Please contact to our Development Chair, Spencer Cromwell, for more information.
